🎭 A Tribute to Hong Kong’s Icon of Arts & Culture

To honour 70 years of entertainment glamour at the State Theatre, New World Development unveils ‘Dreamstate’ — an immersive theatre and dining experience for select guests in the film and cultural sectors held at @k11musea yè shanghai.

Since 1952, the State Theatre has been a cultural oasis of the performing arts, enriching Hong Kongers’ collective memories with concerts from world-class maestros, Cantonese opera shows, song-and-dance troupe recitals, and western film premieres throughout the 20th century. A dreamscape of sound and spectacle, ‘Dreamstate’ perfectly captures the essence of classic Hong Kong entertainment culture from 1950s to 1980s.

Times change, yet remembrance is constant. Through conservation and restoration, New World Development will continue the State Theatre’s legacy. See you in 2026 — when this cultural landmark opens its storied halls to the public once more!
