“I believe blossoms will come to both worlds — as the spring favours everyone — whether you’re inside or outside the fence.” Speaking on his soon-to-launch first-ever institutional exhibition ‘Splendid Park’, contemporary artist @michaellau sat down with @artazine to dig deep into his inspirations, and his artistic journey.

Lau opens the doors of his studio to share the evolution of his artistic practice from his 1999 series “Gardener” to present day, giving us insight through the ‘fences’ — a core motif of this exhibition — to his deeper philosophy and the boundaries in today’s art world.
