Eternality of individuals is a photographic work that consists of 2 sets of creations.
Photography is experiencing a crisis of reproduction of ontology, so are our individualities due to the massive unavoidable photographic archives. We are exposed to this open but dynamic virtual world.
攝影影像普遍被認為是客體的再現，本質是固定的、會死亡的、物質的。
可數位影像於網絡活動中卻拒絕死亡且不斷繁衍。影像被變形及推衍，以致無處不在，沒有終點和最終形態。
作為被記錄者，亦因為影像本質的不可決定性使我們同樣不斷被活動。
In the attempt of post-photography, Eternality of individuals explores how new perceptions are built upon the relations between imagery and materials. This work experiments with the re-creation of the given photographic images in terms of their primary form. The digital distortion of image files consequents the new discovery of the imagery and even new invention of what we could not perceive in the first place.
魏於作品 Eternality of individuals 中模糊人類生活與電子世界之分野，以及數位影像本質中的不可決定性，嘗試從後攝影角度設入，於影像背後之資訊排列上進行二度創作。
When both the documentation and the subject have no absolute definition, how individuality would be interrupted by
the transient nature of image and how far digital images can place ourselves.
在載體本質是流動的前提下，探索影像在數位時代的多變及多向性，思考個體在被持續且流動的影像介入時之立足處。
